Here's the way I do it:
General browsing - hit the "New Posts" link at the top to see new posts from all forums.
Specific interests - Browse specific subforums, like effects, basses, etc. You can find them by clicking "Talkbass Forums" next to the blue folder way up top.
Specific topics - use the search engine, which is in the blue bar at the top of every page. Chances are your question may have all ready been answered!
