Double Bass Next Puzzler

I'm looking at bass that says it was made at the Palmer School of Violin Making. I can't find anything on that school. I know the North Bennett Street school in Boston's North End (about five minutes from where my father was born) but never heard of this one.

It looks to be an Italian "style" bass from the 1890s

NBSS...such fond memories!!! I've not heard of Palmer though...

NBSS has a new Campus...I've not made it up though. I was going to put the Makore Bohemian in the opening exhibition...but then I sold it. O'well...
