NFL 2019 Wildcard Weekend

The guy who owns the Browns says he'll hire a coach first, then the GM. That way, the coach has a say in who the GM is.
That seems backwards to me.
He also said him and his wife are leading the committee to find a new coach.
He doesn't strike me as someone qualified to evaluate an NFL coach, and no one else in his committee seems to be either.
Then again, he signs the checks so I suppose that's all the qualifications he thinks he needs to make the choice.

3/5 of the committee: Haslam, his wife, and their son-in-law. There are two actual football people involved, but I don't know their qualifications and they can presumably be outvoted by the family. I'm sure this will end well.:D

They also reportedly have "strong interest" in Urban. I bet that isn't reciprocal.

The words "Strong" and "Interest" were used talking about Urban Meyer and the Browns.

Urban is due for some humility. Let's make that happen, shall we? :D

edit:

And can we just not bring up the shellacking 'Bama gave the wolverines.

Please?

Aw who am I kidding, they deserve it after that kinda stinker. Elite D my achin' back . . .

Garrett? I don’t know, his hiring always seemed Cowboys-specific to me. Maybe he’ll be a coordinator somewhere.

If you remember when the Cowboys originally hired Garrett they didn't even know what they were going to do with him. Then they hired Wade Phillips to be the HC. I agree, I think Garrett might be headed for the College ranks if he can. I don't see much in the way of NFL action for him. He is young though.
