While I'm no fan of Pete Carroll, he earned respect from me by standing up after that loss to Chicago and admitting he needs to be better.
Tomlin? After his team got off to a slow start and lost to Minnesota a few weeks ago had this to say: “I’m not overly concerned about that perspective. Oftentimes, you’re simply gathering information or setting things up for later in the contest.”
Is there another coach out there, at any level, who isn't concerned when his team goes down 23-0 in the first half, let alone makes it part of the game plan?

The Dolphins became the first team to win 7 in a row after losing 7 in a row. And they're currently the 7th seed in the AFC. But they face the Titans in Nashville and the Pats in Miami to finish the season and may have to win both to get in.
Tua has, IMO, done enough to earn another year as the starter. He's 7-4 this year (Miami's 1-3 when he's out), and he ranks 9th in QBR this season. True, he tends to throw shorter passes than most, but he has to--Miami's offensive line stinks! According to an article I read earlier, advanced stats show Miami is dead last in the NFL in pass-block win rate.
I'm sure the Saints can't wait for the Ian Book era to be over.:D

Belichick can do what he wants with the defense, but the Pats' offense has averaged 17 points in the past 3 games. That has to change if they want to go far. And I hope you're not discounting the Chiefs, the current #1 seed in the AFC.:D

Naw, I don't believe in the Chiefs.
Mahomes is up and down and busy making funny commercials.

If I were a betting man, I would bet on a KC-LA Super Bowl. There, I said it and jinxed them both. Stafford labored for a bad team for so long that it is great to see him on a good team for a change. And Mahomes is never, ever a good person to write off.

Definitely want to see the Chiefs out of all the AFC teams at this point. Don't care about the NFC as long as it isn't Brady or the Cowboys.

I don't think Mahomes is actually busy during the season making commercials. Rodgers and Brady pop up in about as many ads and it doesn't seem to hurt them.

True, Mahomes was inconsistent early in the season, but the Chiefs have now won 8 in a row, including wins over the Chargers, Cowboys, and Packers. They finish up vs. the Bengals, which could be a tough one, and the Broncos, who they should beat. The only team that might catch them for the #1 spot is the 11-5 Titans, who did beat them head to head.

They peaked too early. I'm sticking with my Patriots pick.
After them, Buffalo. Josh Allen is getting it together. To me, that is one dude who can will his team to victory. Heck, I want to strap on some cleats and play for/with Josh Allen.
To me, he is like Russell Wilson in that regard. We could be losing 47-10 with five minutes to go in the fourth, and I'd still be in that huddle giving it 110% on the field with Wilson as my QB. I'm not going to believe the game is over and we lost until the clock hits 00:00.

It was not all on Book. He got called to action on Thursday so not a lot of prep time and almost all the O-line is back ups. Nothing good was going to happen for the Saints Monday with 20 player out and guys getting fitted for gear that day.
