Totally agree, and here is another moment where Tomlin reveals incidentally how much of a clue he doesn't have.
Canada has been outcoached repeatedly. His plays don't work for the situations he calls them in. He's in over his head, and it feels more like he's in the 'here, try this' mode than calling plays that will work. Anyone knows you don't call five yard pass plays on third and eight. You just don't, if you know what you're doing and have a mastery of the game.
I'm sure he's a nice man and I'm sure his play calling works somewhere. That somewhere is not the NFL.
Pittsburgh has been going nowhere for 10 years now. There is nothing to lose. Give a new OC and DC with new ideas and a fresh approach to the game a try. It's not like you're going to blow a shot at the Super Bowl next year.
I do though feel bad for TJ Watt. His talent will be wasted in Pittsburgh just like it was for Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell.

every game is scarry for every team left. If the Pack can make the niners run game pedestrian, and can keep Debo in check, Pack should win. Pack has a dilemma at hand which it appears to be struggling with though no one is really talking about. Jaire Alexander, Z Smith and Whitney Mercilis have all been on IR, have been practicing, but have yet to be activated. Activating them would mean 3 current healthy players coming off the active roster. 2nd team players have really stepped up in the absence of these 3 players who have been out most of the year. Do you bring these 3 starters back and upset the chemistry? Seems like the Pack are really struggling with these decisions.

The more I think about the Titans v Bengals the more I think everyone is living in the moment a bit too much with the Bengals. Also... that whistle The NFL just can't help itself during the end of the season. They need to have some form of ****ery. It's hard to think of the NFL as a fair sport anymore ( It's not... not even close. )

A few points I think are valid.

1) The Bengals just played their Superbowl. It was an emotional game, at home with the game minutes away from an overtime session where the Raiders actually had the momentum.
2) Henry is fresh, but more than that - people seem to think that because he's back if he plays marginally, for him, it will be doom and gloom. The Titans ran the ball just fine with him on the bench.
3) AJ is Fresh. This is huge, and in many ways. He's a vital down field blocker in the run game. He's a beast in the middle. He's a match-up nightmare and doesn't shrink in the moment.
4) Ryan is still Ryan. People should look at the last few seasons when he had his weapons. Oh by the way, he has his weapons now. What you've seen thus far is meaningless. He's a clutch QB who can and will rise to the occasion.
5) The Bengals had trouble with the Raiders front 4 especially late in the game when they began to wear down. Good luck with Simmons and the boys . . . The physical nature of this team will wear out the Bengals who are too young and inexperienced to cope with the constant pressure they are going to feel from both sides of the ball.

If we're honest with ourselves we'd say Bengals v Chiefs goes the chiefs way. Bengals v Bills goes the Bills way. The Titans have beat both of those teams. I think Vrabel has plans for all three, I really do.


There, I've gone and done it. The fanatic in me broke out. Now I can sit in frustration and trepidation as I watch the game this weekend If I was a drinking man, I tells ya . . . .

Got the Chiefs Tee at a rummage sale about 15 years ago.
Got the Bills hat as a gift this year...one of our local boys plays on the team.

I’m going to have to miss the conference championships and super bowl this year due to work conflicts, so this weekend is the last where I will be able to see the games. Pulling for Bengals and just hoping for good games when it comes to Chiefs/Bills and 9ers/Pack.

I have resolved never to watch another Brady game as long as I live, so I scheduled a trio playing session during that one tomorrow afternoon.

I won’t claim I saw it coming, but I wasn’t too surprised. Burrow’s been playing really well. Also, I wasn’t sure Henry would be ready to dominate in his first game back. And Tannehill hasn’t been great in the playoffs.

Tannehill sacked just once, three INT.
Burrow sacked nine times, one INT.
The Titans players will be doing the same thing we'll be doing next weekend, watching NFL playoff games on TV.

Teams that make the Super Bowl usually have a fantastic defense and an excellent QB... and while theirs made a couple of super passes tonight, the Titans merely have a good QB.

The Titans D-line is nasty, but their secondary is lacking after you mention K-Byard... they need some help.

Titans coaches leaned too hard on Henry today... and unfortunately, his game wasn't fully dialed in.

But make no mistake -- Cincy is a solid team. They've got a very solid defense, a decent ground attack and Burrow and his weapons are sharp. Congrats to the Who Dey Nation. Enjoy the ride!
