Shame on Moore from the Cardinals for just standing there watching that lame duck throw from Murray as Long from LA ran up and intercepted it for the pick six.
Parity is nice in the NFL according to some folks, but this wild card weekend is showing us there were a handful of teams who had no business being in the playoffs. At least Ben has enough guts to admit it.

The whole wild-card weekend was underwhelming. Four of the six games were blowouts--predictably, both 7 seeds were toast by halftime. In the other two, the Bengals and Niners deserved to win, but controversial calls still cast a shadow over the games.

I'm not. Love the guy, but Fish has been out of the pro game long enough and with today's trend being hiring the young, offensive-minded coaches, he won't be in anyone's conversations.

However, Eddie G. is lucky to have him around at Tenn. State! :D

I'm actually surprised Fisher isn't coaching now. He suffered from the same problem. Just good enough to get mid round picks year after year. He goes to the Rams and fixes them. McCoach is still getting credit for Fishes drafting.

Holy schnikes!

Ouch! You didn't have to rub it in! :D

Yeah, that 7-0 start and 10-2 record into December proved to be smoke and mirrors. Last night's debacle was hard to watch, and I opted out midway through the second, down 21-0 and watching Murray impersonate someone who had never played football before. He had a severe case of 'happy feet', made awful throws when he was able to evade the D-linemen, and just looked way out of his element. The fact that Cards' O-line were pylons certainly didn't help, either.

Ugh, Tomlin sounds like he's gonna keep Canada as OC and just execute better.... somehow. Also, no plan on how they're gonna replace Ben... just see what happens.

Tomlin: 'All options' on table for next Steelers QB

At this point, replacing Ben is not the issue. Without an OL, it doesn't matter who's under center. I hope they address the OL and the run defense in the offseason. I don't think the QB draft class is very deep this year and the veterans that may be available via trade would cost too many draft picks. Use the picks to build a foundation, then look at the QB. Just my 2 cents.

As far as the coaching staff goes, something is wrong there. Every game I watched, the team did not look ready to play. It wasn't until the fourth quarter, sometimes the end of the third, that the offense started moving the ball. I really hope that changes next year.

The worse thing they could do is draft a QB and get him trashed behind this subpar OL and Canada's terrible game planning. I may be in the minority, but I think Rudolph has proved to be a serviceable option for a year or two while the team positions for a franchise QB.

I agree. Rudolph would be a good option for this duty, or somebody's castoff.
