Second brutal Super Bowl in a row for guys named Drake.
He sure did. Agreed too that he seems like a nice kid.He seemed like a nice kid. And he played a whale of a game!
And the game wasn’t worth a $12.50 ticket. The Super Bowl isn’t called the “Super Bore” for nothing.oh my goodness... I saw that tickets we going to $8k and up!!! I hope it's worth it. you could buy a heck of a bass for that kind of dough.
Penix is rehabbing a knee and may not be ready for the preseason and maybe a few regular games. They got Tua for league minimum, which is a good deal for a good backup. Penix is still their guy.I guess the Falcons gave up on Penix. Why else bring in another established starter in Tua?

Agree completelyTua should retire.
Anyone around him who cares about him at all should be telling him that. Too bad it doesn’t seem like anyone is.Tua should retire.
Actually I think there are people that are. I've seen interviews on Dolphins insider type sites where he talks about pressure to retire. But he says things like "It's my life and I want to play".Anyone around him who cares about him at all should be telling him that. Too bad it doesn’t seem like anyone is.

I’d like you to be right, but the so-called pressure seems to be coming from the outside. Everyone around him, at least publicly, has encouraged him to ignore it, and keep playing.Actually I think there are people that are. nostalgia - my sister went to Pitt and we were so excited about James Conner getting drafted, and pretty curious about how Kenny Pickett would doThe Steelers have picked up a few good players to fill obvious needs, Not a bad free agency, but no word yet about the elephant in the room.
Meanwhile Kenny Pickett is joining his fifth team in five years. How'd the Steelers let him get away?
Rooney and Tomlin swung and missed on Conner because they thought Najee Harris was legit. Most folks know a typical Bama RB is mediocre at best, with a few outliers.nostalgia - my sister went to Pitt and we were so excited about James Conner getting drafted, and pretty curious about how Kenny Pickett would do
I was hoping you were right, but it's as I expected. I get it though, Penix is broken goods and I didn't think his NFL career would last as long as I hoped it would. I really like him.Penix is rehabbing a knee and may not be ready for the preseason and maybe a few regular games. They got Tua for league minimum, which is a good deal for a good backup. Penix is still their guy.
If his injury is typical, Penix likely won't be in a position to compete for the starting spot, so yeah, they'll go with Tua. Tua is also damaged and one more serious concussion, the NFL may shut him down if he won't shut himself down.I was hoping you were right, but it's as I expected.
