NFL Week #12

Actually the officials kept the Lions streak alive today. Don't get me wrong, it's not their fault, the Lions were still in a position and didn't make the big plays. But two weeks in a row they've been jobbed by the officials. That play today was an embarrassment to the NFL"s integrity. And memo to the NFL refs, IF a lions receiver is grabbed while the ball is in the air it's OK to call pass interference. This rule is suppose to apply to Lions receivers too. :rollno:

I agree it's a ridiculous rule, but Jason Hanson kept it alive by missing that OT field goal.

Houston Texans Memes FB page agrees.

Wulp, I'm sad for Charlie Batch but giggling over Pittsburgh's clinic on turning the ball over. That's what they get for signing that scumbag felon Burress. Maybe he can go out tonight and shoot himself in his other leg. Waste of life!

That's a bit extreme... He's not allowed to make a mistake? :eyebrow:

A mistake? I take it you don't know about Plaxico Burress.

Considering the last crime Burress is most known for, there is no excuse or mercy for that kind of idiocy.

I won't be mistaken for his biographer, but I am a new yorker and have been a giants fan and even been to Latin Quarters (the club where he shot himself)..

The most i know about his legal past, i know he had some domestic dispute issues and the gun thing, not sure about anything else.

Regardless, trouble between a man and his wife is their business, and he served his time, do I am not going to call him a "scumbag" or a "waste of life".. If it makes you feel better then go ahead.. I don't pass judgment like that

I have great disdain for criminals. When their crimes put innocent lives at risk, then it's beyond a "mistake". When this trash had had multiple run-ins with the law, yet never learned, then it's DEFINITELY not a "mistake".

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree with it.

"Turn out the lights....the party's over...." Oh wait, I shoulda sang that after the 2nd quarter started.

man...that was a shocker

Solid weekend to be a Bear's fan from a record standpoint. From a personnel standpoint, this week sucked! Lost Forte, Tillman, and Briggs all to ankle injuries. Hester to a concussion, and Louis and Spencer to some injuries. 6 starters lost in one game. Ouch.
