Poor conditioning? I feel like when there are that many injuries, its not so much a fluke.

Cmooon... It's the NFL. Yea, some people are gonna be out of shape, but they're the ones who don't make the team. Look at the list:

Tillman - All-Pro, DPOY canidate.
Briggs - Multiple time All-Pro.
Forte - one of the best all purpose backs in the league
Hester - one of the fastest players in the league, best return man of all time.

I really don't feel like those guys are gonna be in poor condition. Maybe Louis and Spencer since they're offensive linemen, but I don't see that happening with the other guys.

I turned off the TV the second the Giants got that fourth TD. The Pack is not playing like a playoff team this year. Pathetic. I was screaming at the TV so loudly that I think my wife was about ready to divorce me.

Game off, XBox on, spent a couple hours killing things in Skyrim before bed.

Yes... and it's absolutely the WRONG way to officiate.


...and any referee who wasn't 100% sure he was down is in serious need of being demoted to youth football.

No, it would have been reviewed.

Based on previous officiating errors in the game (including a previous review) I have little confidence they would have overturned the ruling on the field.

NO quarterback has been hit, sacked, hurried and chased out of the pocket more in the past five years than Aaron Rodgers. No Chicago fans, not even your Jay Cutler has taken hits like Rodgers. It is a wonder Arod is still standing, much less playing at such a high level all this time.

I had a feeling the Giants where going to break out of their funk last night and did they ever. Got to hand it to the G Men, they came to play.

Too bad for the ViQueens this coming Sunday. They will get smashed by the Pack at Lambeau Field.

That game brought out the worst in the Pack:

poor left tackle play (newhouse)
inability to run the ball (what's new)
extremely poor play calling (McCarthy has games like this time to time)
unable to figure out cover 2 defense (why? everyone's got the Pack deep threat figured out. Why not dink and dunk?)
couldn't stop the run (LBs consistently out of position forcing 2ndary to have to stop the run)

I also thought there were at least a couple blatant holding plays by NY, not called, and that most calls seemed to go NY's way, in particular, one phantom illegal use of hands by Pack 2ndary. Pack was way too non-physical. NY 2ndary was jamming and shoving our receivers around all night, and playing very physical and it worked well for them.

I couldn't give up on my team like that, even midst such a beatdown.

He will likely lose one ball doing so. Our young secondary is hungry for more INTs. I think this will be close as the last two have been.
