NFL Week 17

Steelers wrap up this season much differently than last....with a win over the Ravens. But hey, that isn't saying much anymore. Even the Scoobyhawks can beat the Ravens.

FL Knifemaker.......as far as Garcia being pulled out of the Bucs game, Gruden had decided to do that last week when the Bucs clinched the division. I believe he also sat down Earnest Graham and Joey G.

Speaking of the Bucs and the NFC South Championship....did anyone take Gard up on his bet that the Saints would win the NFC South, and that there was no way the Bucs would win because the "wheels were going to fall off" with Gruden in charge?

Pats go 16-0 with little resistance, as the Giants will sit their starters to rest them for Wildcard weekend.

I should have. :D

I'm going to bump the NFL picks thread after the season ends. I know I predicted Colts v Rams, so I am way off.

I'm coming home from vacation early to watch NFL network for Week 17. sorry Mom, Dad, in-laws, and friends ... but you don't have DirecTV and there's a game to watch :smug:

all the best,

R

I think I may have to drag my younger brother to a local bar to see the game. We used to go to a bar called Players to watch NE Patriots games every Sunday when we lived on Oahu. Of course, most of the games started early in the morning in Hawaii, so we had to be there at 6 AM.

Ehh, I'm looking to the draft next, trying to see if I can place at least the first 15 picks. I've been looking at some projections, and I've been pretty much in agreement w/ most I've seen. I'm just ready for Tony Overhyped - er... Romo - to take a few licks and show everyone he's not the second coming like he's made out to be.

I'm a bit worried about this week. The Packers should obviously beat the Lions, but with no way to improve playoff seeding, I'm afraid we are going to see three quarters of Craig Nall handing off to Vernand Morency up the middle for 1 yard.
