NFL Week 19

If Corey Webster and the secondary can play like they did yesterday, the Giants have a chance. If not, we'll get shredded by the Dallas offense.
I think the Packers should be nervous. The Seahawk defense is really ramping it up right now.

I agree. It seems like the pack peaked too early in their season. My mantra all season is, "you dont bet against bret favre". Not sure if I had one bet to make if it would be for GB, but in my heart I think GB will win.
Id say I agree with all of your picks. I think I, and everyone who isnt a dallas fan, is cheering for eli and his Giants. Pretty impressive showing thus far. Eli doesnt have a great record of winning in clutch games but neither did his brother last year and you all remeber what happened then.....
Basically the talk in indy was, who is indy going to play. Obiously the chargers, but either way it was going to be a good game. Play against someone who is in your division or play against a team who beat you earlier in the season. The colts have alot to play for, and with marvin comming off the bench peyton has alot of weapons to throw to.
Every team at this point ought to be nervous or something ain't right. The Packers D is no slouch, either. The Packers D finished 11th overall, the Hawks 15th. Course that doesn't mean too much. It's how they're playing now. Last three games of the season (some of it obviously 2nd-stringer time) Seattle gave up 63 points, the Pack 62. It should be a good game and a close one. I'd say better D performance wins it.
Just looking ahead....if Seattle manages to pull off a win in GB, which I doubt, they can beat Dallas or the Giants. Especially the Giants, since the game would be in Qwest Field. I would feel really bad for Eli and Coughlin, they don't have a good history in Qwest Field.
The one thing I forgot to mention about this GB/Seattle game is when you look up and down the roster, the Seahawks have more playoff experienced players. No one in Seattle can equal Favres' playoff experience, but outside that, edge to Seattle.

I totally agree. No way am I going to pick Seattle to win. I'm pretty sure it will be GB. I'm just saying that the Seattle defense is picking up some serious momentum right about now. Granted, Todd Collins is not going to be behind center this weekend. But Favre isn't much, if any, more mobile than Collins. With Kearney and Peterson coming off the ends all day long, the GB linemen will have their hands full.
So MPG.....you think it's going to come down to the better defensive performance this weekend? I can agree with that.
Any TB'ers going to be at Lambeau?

Son of a TB'er. My son is going. I have to play Saturday night. We're setting up, then we're tailgating at my house, watching the game, then heading to the gig. Hopefully we'll be in a good mood after the game!
I can't imagine the Pats having any problems with Jacksonville, that seems like the one sure shot I'd have for this week.
I imagine that the Colts can take this one, as well, but it seems of late that they've kinda slowed things down a bit. Maybe that's a bad perspective, though .... I don't follow them really closely.
The Pack could lose this one, but I sort of doubt that. I do agree that they seemed to have peaked a bit too soon, but they have the juice to turn things up a notch and get this week under their belt.
Dallas should win, but any time the Cowboys and Giants play each other weird stuff can happen. And the past two weeks have been the first time in the last couple of years that the Giants actually looked like a cohesive team (including the loss to the Pats) instead of a bunch of self-serving egotists. I'd love to see Dallas lose and despite the fact that the Giants have been on my sh*t list all year, I'm going to be looking for a 28-24 NY win here ...

Today's news about Bob Sanders is just another reason why Bill Polian has a great mind for building a team. Getting Sanders signed before he won this award will help the Colts for years to come.

Unless his friends, family, and agent convince him in the offseason that he got screwed for signing so early and that he needs to hold out for more money since he won the top defensive award in the NFL....totally possible. I don't know Bob Sanders well enough to say if that is a move he would make.

He seems like a pretty stand up guy and happy to be where he is. The colts didnt screw him, he got alot of money. I also think Sanders stepped up becuase freeny isnt there. When freeny comes back his role will be reduced. Its hard to say with bob having such a good season and with dwight out, but dwight is a better defensive player IMO.
Just some food for thought, last time indy played SD they had like 7 of their starters out, this game they will have all but one back. Phillip Rivers is just not good enough to upset indy.

IMO the GB/SEA game is a total toss-up. momentum in the 1st quarter could completely open the game for GB ... but if SEA is still in it in the 4th Farve better start considering his retirement once again

I'm really surprised at how many people (both here on TB and elsewhere) really think the Giants can win this week 
The last two games are not indicative of the way their season has been played. Granted, they looked pretty good against the Pats and they looked great last week, so maybe they're hitting a good peak right now ....
Kinda wonder if it's all just a lot of hoping that Dallas will lose rather than NY winning ....

I don't think the Colts did either. $38,000,000 is a whole lot of money, plenty of money. We've all seen it over and over....athletes holding out for more money. It is nothing new, and I don't think any athlete is immune to it. All it takes is an agent, a best friend, someone running their mouth on TV or the radio, or a family member to get the thought in his/her head that they are worth more.
I'm sure one of our resident Colt fans will chime in soon enough with some more perspective on the kind of guy Bob Sanders is. From the perspective of an "outsider", the Colts do not appear to have any hotheads or troublemakers on their roster.
