NFL Week 19

The Seattle/Green Bay game is my dream game, and my nightmare. Those are my two favorite teams...so I get to yell "Run, Run, Catch'em, Catch'em..." all game long.

Good point about Seattle having more playoff experience up and down the team. Favre is always a force, and I'd love to see him back in the Stupor Bowl - but if they beat Seattle, CAN they get past Dallas? Seems like TX stadium is the black hole for GB.

It is nothing new, and I don't think any athlete is immune to it. All it takes is an agent, a best friend, someone running their mouth on TV or the radio, or a family member to get the thought in his/her head that they are worth more.

I'm sure one of our resident Colt fans will chime in soon enough with some more perspective on the kind of guy Bob Sanders is. From the perspective of an "outsider", the Colts do not appear to have any hotheads or troublemakers on their roster.

Everything that I've read about him indicates that his contract won't need to be changed because of this award. Seems like a stand-up guy and a hard worker.

While almost to a player Seattle has more experience, almost to a player Green Bay is better.

And while there is something to be said for experience, there is also something to be said for youth...namely the thinking that they can't lose...because they really don't know much other than winning. GB has enough experience where it counts, QB, LB, DB, D-line, O-line (except guard).

Seattle will put up a fight, but GB will prevail.

Also, if Dallas lasts to the NFC Championship game it will be a whole different game in Dallas than last time. We hung with them right to the end last time...without Favre, Woodson, KGB, etc. The only reason we lost that game was because we threw away the very game plan that got us this far...the short passing game and league leading YAC with those receivers.

Dallas can be had...and if Dallas and GB are in THE game...GB will win.

Sanders seems to be a very level headed guy from the interviews I have seen. It's nice to see a "little" guy actually get one of the top defensive honors. What's that old saying? Dynamite comes in small packages! :p

On his contract, I remember a time when everyone said the Colts would have no D because they kept spending all their money on the O. Now, they have Peyton, Marvin, and Reggie locked in along with Freeney and Sanders. I'd say they figured out how to keep most of the big talent in Indy. Yep, I'm pretty happy about that. :smug:

Thank you Patriots for shutting up the Jags as well. I have no excuses for our loss last week like "we didn't show up", but the Jags are not all that.

Next weekends Indy/NE game is going to be one for the ages. I can't wait.

I think either the Chargers or the Colts will put up a great game against the Pats and both are dangerous. But, I don't think either team will make it past the Pats this year. The Jaguars gave the Pats a good workout, which should help the Pats be prepared for next week.

Sure does sound that way, huh? :D I think a Pats vs Colts AFCCG will settle who is the best team this year.
