NFL Week #19

I love it, that's right y'all pick the Cards to win...with 3 days to prep for a game (they CAN'T practice today, NFL rule; they have to travel Friday) against the #1 offense in the NFL on their home field after they've had essentially 3 weeks to rest and prepare.

:D

So yeah, Saints over Cards, by 2 scores.

;)

Rest of the games:

Colts over Ravens
Vikes over 'Boys
Bolts over Jets

So you(The Saints) plan to face the Vikes in the Championship?

Scared of the Boys repeating 12/19 are ya?:smug:

If I were you I'd rather face the Vikes than Dallas. Dallas has already knocked ya to the mat once. Wouldn't want 'em to have a chance of knocking you all the way out;)

I'll say this;

Colts SHOULD beat Ravens (depending on morale)

Vikes/Boys have about an equal chance of beating the other with an edge going to Dallas for their play as of late.
Dallas should win on both sides of the "trenches". I say AP is key for a Vikes W. Stop him and the Dallas D should rattle Farvuh. AP does well the Queens win. Dallas' D flies around like they have lately the Boys win;)
Saints SHOULD beat Cards (Cards defense is hemmorhaging) but all the "Rest" for NOLA may level things to a closer game than the "Early" Saints, definately less than two scores . Saints timing will be off.

Bolts should beat Jets. A solid D and run game isn't a complete team. The Bolts are a complete team, on a helluva roll.

God Bless, Ray

Gard sounds nervous!!:smug:

The NFC final reminds me (for the millionth time!) why I love the NFL......

Saints: Brees, the town, Payton, the mile high expectations

Cards: Warner, Fitzgerald (my absolute favorite non-Cowboy in football), some guy named Wizenhunt?

Vikes: Allen, Brent, AD,.....

Boys: Romo, 13 years of futility, that defense, the Teletubby....

As Ron Burgandy would say, "Great story, compelling and rich!"

You Cowpatty fans are so amusing.

:rollno:

Afraid? Nervous? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

:D

No. Not a bit, of EITHER team.

I really do think that the Barneys will win this game, they are going to be MUCH tougher than you guys think.

Nope. I know for a fact Boys/Vikes will be an absolute dogfight that will go late into the 4th. I'm very concerned that the Cowboys could lose and look bad doing it. That's a damn good team up there. It is the opinion of a studied observer of the NFL.

You SHOULD be very, very worried about your game this weekend. Kurt Warner is doing his Johnny Unitas imitation and looks like the best QB left in the tournament. That dude is special and if he gets the Cards past you, I will be very, very concerned about facing the guy in the NFCCG.

And the fact that you're "not afraid or nervous" about either team shows one of two things:

1) you don't know the NFL (that ain't it!) or....

2) You're delusional....... Set down your Saints pennant, your gold foam finger, and embrace the horror!!!!!:p

Cards win. They don't need tons of time to prepare for the Saints. Just like the GB game, whoever scores last will win this game.

Go Chargers!!

I'm not sure who to pick for the Indy game. I don't like either team.

You guys are the delusional ones. :D

Folks, pay attention...Saints have ALL the starters except one (the exceptionally underperforming Charles Grant) back on defense for the first time since October, back when they were the leading ball-hawks in the NFL; the offense is going to be at full strength for the first time since the second game against Atlanta.

Warner has a vulnerability: he totally lacks any mobility of any kind, and if you start knocking him around a bit, he gets wild with his throws, lots of incompletions and interceptions (he's renown for his 4-5 INT performances when a team starts beating him up). Now that the starting CB's that allowed the Saints to send the kitchen sink blitzes back in the early season are all back to 100%, what do YOU think they're going to be doing?

Anyone that doesn't realize the importance of good CB play to all facets of a defense, running defense as well as passing, is the one that doesn't know the NFL.

Get ready...

OK, Bud.............

Green Bay has no pass rush at all, right?

I'll tell you this, and you should bookmark this page, cause this is an absolute:

If you try and make a living blitzing Kurt Warner, this game won't be close. You lose by 14, easy. He has made what appears to be a Hall of Fame career out of carving up teams blitzing him. Now, since you're not the defensive coordinator for the Saints, I doubt they will do much blitzing. Ole Gregg knows Warner and he won't make that mistake. He'll send 4 and play coverage. That may work. It might not. But if ya'll can't get there rushing 4, and you have to start blitzing, it's over......

The Saints have INSTITUTIONAL memory of Warner, they used to play him twice a year. They KNOW him. They used to regularly rough him up and make him look BAD.

He's even had a 4+ interception game THIS SEASON.

Again, I'm crazy about my team, yes. I may be wrong, of course. But delusional? The delusional ones here are those that are already discounting the Saints based on what they saw (or more accurately THINK they saw) the past month.

Once they finish punching all three of their next opponents right in the mouth, you can come tell me how DELUSIONAL I am.

:D
