NFL week 2

Giants had an incredible comeback for the win. Very impressive.

The Bears are looking hot right now. We knew they had a defense, but now they have an offense, too?

And... it's time to panic in Carolina.

Chiefs D was impressive, but their offense shouldn't be this bad. Honestly, Willie Roaf was good, but not having him doesn't mean we shoudn't be able to get touchdowns.

However my other favorite team, the Bears, are rockin out. But *** MATE, the bears are a passing offense now? And Rex Grossman led the NFL in QB fantasy points over Peyton Manning by 1? This is a strange world we live in...

Chiefs D was impressive, just forced to be on the fileld way to long. our offense has 0 big play ability other than larry johnson busting off a big run. i was actually suprised how well we were able to run against the broncos, cause they had to know that's what we would do all day. Didn't seem like we ever did play to try and throw em off at all.

Falcons offense and defense were amazing although special teams needs lots of work. 0/4 on field goals is never acceptable. The Falcons need a real kicker rather than "the punter who can do place kicking".

I'm looking forward to the Monday night game next week versus the Saints.
Saints are only 2-0 because they faced the Browns and the Packers.

I was real pleased with how week 2 went. I've always thought of Rex Grossman as an over rated quarterback, but the guy can actually throw! The Bears are looking real sharp. I was pleased with my Packers's performance against the Saints, only because they actually threw 27 points on the board, and waited until the two minute warning to have no hope of winning. I'd say things are looking up in GB! Grampa Favre only tossed 1 pick as well!

I believe that the Chargers are a good team, don't get me wrong. But calling them the real deal after wins over Oakland and Tennessee is stretching it buddy.

Rivers may end up being a good QB in this league, but I'd like to see him actually have to pass against a real deal defense....like the Steelers and Ravens in the next three weeks.

I wouldn't want to be the team that is the first one to play the Saints in the 'Dome after the stuff that's gone down over the past year + in New Orleans. That room will be rockin'....

I'm with you on the other thread, the 'aints will most likely win this one on emotion alone, then tank for the rest of the season.

...besides, ask Sundouge, bettin' against the Saints ain't smart, is it?

Obviously I'm pretty primed about the Bears victory, but I'm pretty excited about seeing their performance against teams with a winning record. I also am not convinced about Grossman - I'll admit; he looked awesome this week. If he can keep doing it, that's cool, but I'd still rather see Griese start. :ninja:

How good is the Bears defense? After a bad pass interference call that put the Lions on the 14 (easy field goal range), the Bears defense pushed the Lions BACK in three plays making it a 41 yard field goal attempt, which was missed. That's awesome.

Bring on the Viqueens!
