NFL Week #2

If Pittsburgh shows up, they should have an easy time with Seattle. The Seahawk fans are still mad about SB XL, so it's a rough week on the local sports radio station here.

Looks like a bunch of dud games this week. I wish we had something great like GB/NO to start off the week again.

Lions play a banged up out of sync Chiefs team at home. Losing their All Pro safety has Calvin Johnson practicing end zone dance routines. I wasn't sure about this one going into the season, but the Lions dominated a very good Tampa Bay team last week in their house.

Tampa Bay didn't get an offensive TD until the fourth and they were unable to run the ball against Detroit. I was a bit worried about the defensive backfield in Detroit, but if game one (of course it may not be) is any indication the Lions have one of the elite defenses in the league. There is no doubt in my mind that the LB core is head and shoulders above last year, Tulloch may be pro bowl bound behind this defensive front. I think the Lions continue the hot start.

Detroit 31
Chiefs 9

I just hope the Cowboys find another way to lose. I've never seen a team that works so hard to lose football games. It's hysterical. When that snap hit Romo in the gut while he was surveying the Jets D the look on his face was priceless.

I'm waiting for my Bears to come back down to earth against the Saints.

They played over their heads against a Falcons team a lot of people considered to be pretty good. One game does not a season make. I hope the Bears don't have a letdown and get spanked in NOLA but it's not like it hasn't happened many times before. Cautiously optomistic about the Bears' chances this Sunday.

The "Lose for Luck" chant will grow louder here in Seattle after the likely trashing in Pittsburgh this weekend. Right now we're at the bottom of the power rankings.... With Detroit on it's way, Carolina doing well, Buffalo rolling and Cincinatti winning this week... It could be a two horse race with Cleveland. I can't stand rebuilding years... Seems like that's what we are every year. :spit::bawl::rollno:
