Highly doubt that.

I doubt they would want to cut someone or put Colston on IR to bring in someone for 4-6 weeks. Colston is hurt every year, and they still manage to have a top offense. They have good depth at WR, and good receivers in Graham and Sproles.

I thought the loss of Colston was only for a few weeks? The Saints will be fine. They have 43 other guys playing WR who they can plug right in.

I'm waiting for Tebow to come out with "Orton is the starter and you need to root for him". That's the kind of guy he seems to be.

Bears fan here, and a lot of us are more worried about Sproles than any other WR likely to take the field for the Saints on Sunday.

And yes, all indications are that Brian Urlacher will play, and I expect him to have a tremendous game in his mother's honor.

Totally predictable, this is why I love the guy. I've honestly never been very impressed with Orton going back to his days in Chicago. But Tim isn't ready.

So true. I understand anyone is entitled to an opinion, and you don't have to play NFL football to understand the game. But he makes statements with such strong conviction and talks like he has some intimate knowledge of the sport, but he has never played. In my opinion, you need to have played the position or at least the game before you start talking that way.

The crowd in Denver is a bunch of idiots.

A local TV station poll showed results indicating 47% of those voting thought Orton was the problem. Morons.

SUUUURRE. I watched....and remember, EVERY knowledgeable sportscaster and sports talk guy in Denver agrees that this team has crappy personnel and there is absolutely no chance they will win even 8 games this years.

The offensive like can't block - he was under pressure all night. The defense was pitiful and couldn't stop anything consistently - especially the run - and his receivers dropped most of the passes he threw. It was a bad performance from top to bottom, except for the QB. Orton did the best he could with a team that's inferior and receivers who can't catch a ball.

Orton is currently one of the most competent players on the team, but the Denver Lemming league is stampeding over the "Blame Orton" cliff anyway.

I'm almost certain Orton would've won that game himself if the rest of the team save 2-3 guys wasn't playing to lose.

And I was at a total loss for words when the team was down just 1-2 scores late in the game and the crowd was chanting for Tebow. If Orton was able to help his team stay in the game that long, why pull the "hot hand" for someone ice cold off the bench?

Denver fans are ridiculous.

I don't know what it is about this guy. He does the best he can with what he has. He doesn't have the greatest phsyical skills, but he somehow gets it done and wins games. He doesn't have the best around him, but he doesn't complain, throw anyone under the bus, or get involved in controversy. The guy just plays his @$$ off with what he has, and people give him crap.

That guy must either drink a gallon of scotch every night or has the intestinal fortitude of a M1 tank.
