NFL Week #5

Its on to Dallas for the well-rested Patriots. Its a good time to be playing the Cowboys although there is a worry that the Dallas running game could rack up big yards. The key will be for the Pats to get an early lead, so Dallas will have to pass.

The unrested and apparently incompetent Seahawks offense is off to Cincinnati, where the Bengals aren't the Bungles or Beagles this year. It could be ugly if the Seahawk offensive line stays as uncoordinated as they have been.

The Pats vs. Cowboys' B-squad...I predict complaints of "running up the score". If only Jerry Jones had Kraft's back in the commish's recent witch hunt, maybe mercy would be shown...

No mercy would have been shown even if Jones would have had Mr. Kraft's back, but it is entirely likely that the injuries to Romo and Bryant wouldn't have happened. Anyone else noticing that bad things are happening to those who were on the wrong side of Pats this offseason - Colts, Ravens, Cowboys, Giants, Steelers, Dolphins, the NFL Officiating Department - probably just a coincidence. [Insert evil laugh, mustache-twirling emojii here]

The Hawks normal offense is the broken play. It's almost like Wilson has a magic dome around him that won't let him be touched no matter how badly the O line bungles the protection. Then he either scrambles for a miracle or completes a miracle pass. It's amazing athleticism on his part, but I can't stand to watch it because it seems like such bad fundamental football. I really want to like the Hawks because of how much I hate the Patriots, but their recent string of lucky breaks, stupid plays, and horrible fundamentals on offense make it hard. Plus there's Pete Carroll, who just rubs me the wrong way.

will be in san diego to photograph the alleva coppolo bassacre on saturday, if any of you guys wanna meet up and watch the chargers at a bar hit me up, i was gonna go to the game, but i'm in escrow on a property and i can't swing tickets to go see my steelers

You are not kidding about their playbook being irrelevant. It's pure sandlot. It is thrilling if you don't know how the game is supposed to be played, but it's also going to get Wilson killed one of these days.

One day he will get hit hard running and that will cause him to play more out of the pocket, from that point on. Only problem is he is short and that makes it hard to see downfield at times.
