San Diego (when not at Groom Lake)
I got a new (to me) hen yesterday - the venerable Bergantino HG310. I had a chance to A/B it with an HDN210 and they're somewhat different animals. The HG310 is very hi-fi and airy, with a punchy but tight bottom end. The HDN210 is thicker down low, with a little more low-mid presence. Neither is strongly voiced but the differences are readily evident. I can't wait to try it at a rehearsal.

so .. how did the HG310 work in your rehearsal ? I am actually pretty set for amps/cabs these days, but the idea of a great sealed 3x10 is very appealing. If the HG310 is anything like the NV610, I could see myself substituting the it in for the much larger/heavier NV610 when I wanted a great sealed cab thump, but really did not need the full on roar of the NV610.

so .. Munji, spill on the HG310, inquiring minds want to know

Well, one band is on hiatus for medical procedures and the other rehearses at a studio that has a huge Markbass rig, so it's going to be a while before I get the opportunity to try it in context.
