Totally makes sense--but I know people who will not cheer for Montreal because they "win it too much."

I don't like Montreal, but it's not because of that. Most of those titles came when the NHL had six teams and the rules favored the Canadiens, so they're not all that legitimate.

I was willing to take mild joy in a Montreal Cup, only because I like underdogs and because the Lightning inspire nothing in me. Montreal inspires scorn, which is at least a reason to care. So, yes, I was willing to not hate a Habs series win.

But after seeing these last three games? Nah. They deserve nothing from me but more scorn.

TBH, I'm on the opposite side of FL. We got normal summer rain. I've not heard anything yet about the game. Amalie is pretty close to the water, but I don't think it could've gotten an damage.

Prolly as good a final as I've seen in quite a while. The 2 best goalies in the NHL(Fleury's Vezina Trophy not withstanding)in a 1-0 game with lotsa hits and great "D". 2inarow(3 for Maroon). Not likely to be 3, but 'we shall see'(I just made that up ).

Feel sorry for Carey Price. Probably the most talented goalie in the modern era to not win a Stanley Cup. At age 33, not too many opportunities left.
