There will certainly not be a parade for the Raptors next summer, so the Leafs won't have any scheduling issues 
My Oilers are off to a bad start and now McDavid is hurt. They had an easy schedule and blew it. The team is looking quite pathetic, soft, lacking the ability to finish. Its quite concerning.
I didn't catch last nights game
I did watch the Detroit game. Edmonton looked kind of rather, well, unremarkable.
Marc-Andre Fleury's last game in the city of Pittsburgh, as a member of the Wild. Cool picture, but that was about the only thing the Pens had to smile about all night.
Way to go Marc! I'm really glad he had one more chance to beat the Pens. Unfortunately the doofus who ran him out of Pittsburgh is long gone and doesn't even care how dumb that fateful decision was.
Marc was always a classy competitor. He handled his departure from Pittsburgh way better than I did, haha.

Yeah, it's early, but seeing Edmonton, Boston, and Nashville at or near the bottom of their divisions is kind of a shock.
On the other hand, having Columbus, Utah, and LA all over .500 is surprising, too.
Seeing Pittsburgh having the second-worst goal differential is unfortunately, not surprising.

If I remember correctly, they didn't start off too well last year either....
They sure like to make things hard. That said there are a few other good teams struggling too.
Pens break their six-game losing streak, with two wins in a row.
But, as par for the course this season, against two non-playoff teams. All of the Pens' wins this season have come against the bottom echelon, as they just can't keep up with the better teams.
Not sure why the player safety committee hasn't yet addressed Xhekaj's spear to the groin against Michael Bunting on Saturday night.

There are few players in this league that are not needed. Most of them have a screw loose IMHO. Xhekaj is one of them.
I saw a Canucks game the other night, and they actually looked like a legitimate professional hockey team! That's a pretty rare thing, in my experience (been watching them since 1971...) 
That is a bit better. Guess the parade is back on!
