Thanks for posting that. Tina and Familyman Barrett are my two biggest inspirations on bass. It was interesting to read about her going for "reggae tones" during that period. I bought my first bass in 1983 after learning their lines on a borrowed bass for a couple of years. I still have it, a Gibson Grabber, and it still does great, deep, reggae tones.

I am always of a fan of bassists who bring a unique voice to the art. She is in my top 10 just for that alone.

Crazy that Robert Palmer is on Once in a Lifetime, I had no idea. Gonna have to pull that up and listen for him.
