Well, they were on Philly International at the time so I'm assuming it was their standard session player (probably the same guy in TSOP). I can't get to allmusic.com at work but I think Dexter Wansel had something to do with that one and he could have used his bassist. Possibly Ron Baker.

I'm working on it.
But I'm not sure that the transcription is the same as the song played by Melvin Lee Davis.
I am not very comfortable with transcription.
Maybe it would be better to do a collaborative work to have a better result.
