I am thinking about maybe getting a Nikki Six Thunderbird instead of the Fender Aerodyne. I will get the fender later. But I cant seem to find any reviews on the Nikki Six. Just need some Oppinions on this bass.

Nikki Six Thunderbird IV

If you're a control freak, this bass is not for you. There's one switch - it's a killswitch basically - and no knobs or pickup controls at all. It sounds Like This, and that's all you get. Now, if you're just that big of a Nikki Sixx fan, then by all means, go for it. But I'd think a standard T-bird would do you if you're looking for a player.
Yeah, the other one is the earlier Nikki Sixx model - the Blackbird. I have a Blackbird, and love it.

the funny thing is on mine I never play with the knobs, however when both pickups are fully engaged, I don't like it as much as 75/25 ( more on the neck pup ) so I lowered the bridge pup, raised the neck pup and viola, just as I like it, so technically I could pull the pots out, and not care.
I have a volume pedal, so the switch would be cool for instant-off, but redundant.
I always liked the thinner neck but I already have 2 non-Gib Tbirds with that narrower nut.
I really like tbird1958's new sixx, and I now see him posting reviews since he has had it for a month now. you could track him down, and ask him.
