Nikki states he was playing BC Riches, then he built a Kramer Thunderbird, then moved onto the Spector Thunderbird (custom), then the Blackbird.

So if the bass pic someone already posted (which is definitely a Spector) isnt the one, then its probably the Kramer he built himself - must of been a Frankenbass.

Yep.....I'm also 100% sure its a TBird. Nikki is a great rock star and Samantha Maloney is just soooooooo hot and such a great drummer! I think Nikki probably had the same goals of Bobby Dall of Poison when he begin his musical quest. Bobby said in a Behind The Music that he never wanted to be a great bass player......he just wanted to be a rock star. Motley's book "The Dirt" helps spell this out for Nikki.

If you check go to the link on my last reply, you can see the Gibson logo on the headstock under the strings. Talking of "The Dirt" book, I thought it was really sweet at the end, when Nikki and Tommy`s kids are in the same class at school; Terror Twins for the new generation? I hope so!!!

It is definately a Gibson. Maybe he had it refinished or something. It doesn't necessarily have to have come from the factory that color.

It is a Gibson T Bird with a custom finish on it. It was done by Marty Bell and setup by a guy here in Austin TX that works on my basses, I am having my epi blackbird painted that way I will post picks when I get it back!
