new old Mike Lull 5 in da house as it is ever so sweet... from the GFS here. There are so many great basses up for sale at the moment. I was torn between this and the PT-5 in CaR. Both Lulls, both very likely awesome basses...

We are going to rehearsal now... along with it's 4 banger black and maple Lull sister. Jose my drummer doesn't stand a chance ;-). I have YaYa's to get out and overplaying like a bad guitarist just might be my get out of jail free card ;-). I may be a bad man tonight !

Yep. I've never bonded with B to G before. I figured to give it one last shot. If I can't feel the love with this one, it just isn't there for me...

Roger that. Good call getting such a nice bass to give it every chance to stick.

I'm going through the same drill with that Marco Bass SC I brought home the other day. Been shedding quite a bit, making some real progress, and first jam's tonight, private not open mic. I have to get used to frets at the same time, but maybe that's a good thing!

No hurry on the loaner J, but I do appreciate it a lot.

Funny but I play fretless almost exclusively at home and fretted 100% with Willy & Nelson. I would say that there is no way to sing and play fretless but after watching Chris Wood last Friday night... URB, singing and playing neck brace harp... dang that's setting the bar kinda high... maybe not quite as high as Jano Rix playing drums while also playing keys with his right hand... Wood Brothers... just ridiculously talented...
