I need a bit of help figuring out something.

My phone does a really nice job with the audio.... the video is horrible.
My camera does good video, but the audio is awful....

I want to get some video and audio samples of my products up. Is there any free software that I can use to get the best of both sources into one video? I'm guessing it isn't that simple, but figured I'd ask.

Also, is there a way to just take the audio from my phone vid's? An audio example would do for now, I guess. Just posting pics of the cabs would be sufficient for now, really. It's not like they dance while they're being played

I think yes but I'm not sure about it ; if you make an unique block like putting them togheter with adhesive and then you sincronize the beginning of audio and video you can put audio on video with a video editor software as Sony vegas .

It is a bit clunky, but you can use Windows Movie Maker. Just pull in the video from your camera and mute the audio, then add a the audio from your phone as a soundtrack and drag it around until it is synced up. Getting the audio in the right spot is the clunky part, but it is doable.

All it takes to easily synchronize is a loud, visible hand clap after starting the video and audio recorders. That's what those "clab boards" are that you seen in the movies.

I was also going to suggest Windows Movie Maker, it is a little clunky for great for super simple video edits.

The phone is a $50 Nokia Lumia 435 Windows phone. Very surprised at the audio quality of the video recorder. I switched it to "pro" so it allows the full spectrum. Apparently the default video setting high-passes at 100hz. There are only two video options, meh and OMG bad. The camera I have is just a Kodak EasyShare C183. It's 14MP. Better than my phone for sure, but still not fantastic. I have no idea what I'm doing with this stuff. I'll definitely give all these responses a whirl, though. How do I get just the audio from my phones recording, though? It records everything (as far as I can tell) in MP-4. According to a guy I sent one of the videos to so he could help with it, YouTube won't even process it. Will I be able to separate the a from the v?

I believe that if you import the video and audio from your phone in Windows Movie Maker you can strip the audio from the file (not 100% sure since I am not at home at my PC) and the same with the camera but replace the audio from the camera with the audio from the phone

Windows Movie Maker is part of the Windows Essentials free download from Microsoft, do a custom install and unselect all the other crap that comes with it.
