I tried watching a couple times over the years. Sort of funny, but I never got into it and I work in an office.

The Office stopped being funny somewhere in season 6, luckily Community started up at the same time.

The Office (US) was one of the few US takes on a British comedy that I liked, primarily because they managed to get a good cast and put a bit of a different spin on it.

Plus a trillion. The US Office I find much more entertaining. I think that's partly due to great writing and casting, and partly due to the fact that I am sick to death of Gervais self-aggrandising ubiquity.

Oh man, you guys are totally gonna get kicked out of the hipsters club.

I like both versions quite a bit; each is really good in their own way, IMO. That said, I agree the show lost steam when Carell left. I still enjoyed some of last season's episodes, though.

(I have to agree with Uncle Fluffy, the Red Dwarf (US) pilot is particularly painful)

Also, Jim is a totally immature pr!*k who devises these mean little tricks on Dwight who is just trying to earn a living. If I had to work with Jim I would probably punch him right in the face and tell him to grow up...

Please tell me you're joking and you don't actually see Dwight as an innocent victim.
