No shorts thread gone astray!

So this thread was inspired by the many annual "Shorts are Uncool" threads. The idea? To post a picture of what you think is cool enough to wear on stage. Rest assured no matter what you post, someone is going to take a dump on it and tell you it's exactly as bad as you think another style is. Make a point. Have fun with it. I don't care. I'll go first. I think shorts are just fine...

As long as you keep the mouse in the house at family venues (weddings, etc.) I think shorts are fine.

In all fairness, he appears to be at either a session or a rehearsal.

I will admit that I've recently broken down and worn shorts to a few afternoon gigs. My reasoning is that I'm crammed in a corner by the drummer, someone standing right in front of me, it's a rooftop patio gig, over 95 degrees outside, and I have to walk 6 blocks with gear to get there. Shorts may be slightly tacky, but being a sweaty mess is worse.

Seems like a fairly pointless thread; but, I will say this to the shorts haters out there: a couple gigs down here in PHX outside in the height of the summer heat will convert you in a hurry.
