NO WAY! Single cut version of the Ibanez BTB!!

this was the first one ever...I decided that I'm a little bit bored so I'm experimenting with the 6...I'm not ready to gig with it yet but its coming along well... this bass is really nice, and they could easily charge 1500 for it.

I played one today at my local GC and I was really impressed with it. It sits nice and balances well. It really did not feel heavy. It looks great and my biggest issue with the BTB and really the only one I have with the regular ones is that if I bought one, I'd have to cut about 3" off the bottom horn, but this one with the single cut looks perfect. They all play nice for sure. Didn't even plug it in. Just played and felt really nice.

I played one just the other day, and it was the first 6-string I've ever played. 6-strings and single-cuts aren't really my thing, but I have to say that it was quite comfortable, could get a variety of tones, and didn't weigh too much. Overall I really enjoyed the test run, although I found it just a bit awkward to place in/remove from a stand due to the large body and wide neck. Very nice bass!

Nice to hear that! If you're into chords, try tuning it to Drop Bb for some time : Bb - F - Bb - Eb - Ab - Db (lowest string half step down, the rest half step up). It will sound awesome!

Update...I love this bass. I use it for my church gig, my original metal band, and slowly working into the Eb tuned classic rock stuff..it's only been a few weeks of steady playing, but I think I'm getting the hang of 6string...

Hi folks, I'm a lack of experience with singlecut basses and basses in general dude who is very interested with this bass
Questions,
mono m80 can fit this? I intend to get the 5 strings. Otherwise any recommendation of a gig bag for this?
Passive pickups with 3 band eq and mid selector....will it still work without battery?
