If you have noiseless pickups, balancing toward the bridge or neck (vs 50/50) will reduce the inherent two pickup mid scoop. Of course you can do that with any pickup if you don't mind the hum.
did anyone tried the noble with different tubes
and find the different?
telefunken/ JJ Ge/ RCA black plated.. etc?
i got two EH in itI'm curious about this too but the JJ tubes that it comes with are some of the quietest tubes you can buy. That's a good fit with the intended clean tone with low noise floor. Other tubes may provide more grind.
Tubes are ECC82 / 12AU7.
If AudioKinesis just made a powered speaker, I think I would be golden!
