Hi Guys, i am torn between these 2 now... if price is not a consideration factor , which one to go for ? I play mainly modern rock, pop and funk... i have a darkglass vintage ultra and b7k ultra for dirty sounds, i almost went for the noble di but hesitated as the new mesa bass di seems pretty good too.

Noble DI or Mesa Boogie Subway Bass DI

I don't have the Mesa DI, but do have a D800 and a Noble..
The D800 is great! It's small, light, powerful, and so crazy easy to dial in sounds.
But the Noble, to me is just sheer perfection. I can't break it down in technical speak, but there's some magic going on in that tiny box. I've ran it straight to the input of the D800 and it was fantastically stunning. Plus it doesn't get any easier with just two knobs and a switch.
Added bonus, it fits on a Nano, and powers six pedals, so no need for other power source.
Whatever sound you dial in on stage, is the sound FOH gets. And it's a beautiful thing. I'm debating going cabless and using just my Noble with IEM'S for the ultimate mini rig of doom.

Some get scared off by the price... and I by no means have tons of disposable cash.. but I haven't regretted my purchase once. It blows my mind every time I play how something so small can sound perfect no matter where the knobs are...

I too have both the Noble pre/DI and the Mesa D800. Agree with the above poster that they sound fantastic separately and together. However, as great as the Mesa pre-amp is, the Noble is just fantastic. I have recently acquired a Crest power amp to use with the Noble and I couldn't be happier with my "clean" tone. Both are amazing technologies and would be impossible to go wrong with either.
Oh my... maybe i should get a D800 too, don't you guys think so?
I have not tried a Subway, but I love my Noble. It's perfection in a cool, simple enclosure.
Yeah, the simple 2 knobs and a switch is perfect as i am putting together a simple DI out board without using cab, i think the noble does this very well.
Well said! I've been running a Noble (either straight to board or through my Genzler MG800) since December, and I have not regretted my decision once either. It's an amazing sounding piece of gear!

The tubes are user replaceable, but rarely need to be changed. I'm happy to assist if necessary.

I may end up selling my D800.. BUT... I'm never letting go of my Noble.
Simplicity is what attracted me to the Mesa... but EVERY review I read on the Noble was positive , plus the videos were a huge bonus and push... especially the Sean Hurley video. So perfectly smooth. That was all she wrote, not one regret since.
We're local. If you want to borrow mine for a gig or something, let me know and I'll try to work something out schedule-wise.
Mesa DI all the way. It serves dual purpose: as great preamp to my power amp (enough juice and wonderfully sounding with superb 3-way connectivity) as well as keeps my GAS in check from dropping $1K on Noble (I need to block Noble website on my browser and forget password, plus call my bank to freeze any transactions related to Noble). 
About to pull the trigger on a noble. Got to see with my own ears.
