Nobody likes Stingray Series tone?

It seems everyone choose Parallel instead of Series.
I use both: Most of the time in Series for a more agressive tone (I use the bass to play Progressive rock songs) I think it gets me closer to the tone Myung uses with his Bongo, more modern..
I use Parallel mode for tapping and solos, for tapping I like a bit of the piezo option.
For other Styles I tend to use my Fender Roscoe Beck Jazz bass more.

When I play my SR5, I almost exclusively use series. Parallel sounds too scooped in the mids to my ears, whereas series brings the mids up front, which I accentuate by boosting the mids a bit more. Parallel has a nice slap tone, but I don't slap much.
