Yeah! Whatever he said! Wait! What did he say?IMO it stems from people identifying ideologically with a group or person who is shown to be bad in some way. Since in the individual's mind that entity was a "good guy" then the "bad guy" must be the same or worse. Having the representatives of "your team" constantly and unapologetically lying has to create a level of cognitive dissonance which is lessened by simply thinking "it's all like that" rather than a more complicated and nuanced analysis, which may challenge the individual's ideology and worldview.
The level of outright and unchallenged (in fact supported and echoed) mendacity flying around is astonishing.
Basically, people that someone likes are lying to that someone, so that someone assumes everyone must be lying to them.Yeah! Whatever he said! Wait! What did he say?
So bulls**t grinder. Basically just your run o the mill bulls**t grinder. The whole world is just one big bulls**t grinder. 24/7 bulls**t grinding. All he needed to say was bulls**t grinder. Simple. Nobody would do that.Basically, people that someone likes are lying to that someone, so that someone assumes everyone must be lying to them.
