nah, that looks like a 1970s bass judging by the pickup spacing, bullet truss and the maple fretboard

+1 to those who were inspired by Noel's playing. Whether Jimi or Noel came up with the lines, they were marvelous, and contributed to making the Jimi Hendrix Experience what it was.
There's an interview in th UK's Bass Magazine this month with both Glenn Hughes and Andy Fraser, they both mention their love for Noel's playing with Hendrix. I'm still a Billy Cox man myself though.![]()
