I've never actually owned an electric guitar, I really got to get one sometime. I almost bought a Tele once in a store that was really sweet, but it was $800 1998 money that I couldn't commit to. That's the closest I ever came.

The like two fellas above me, I am GASing terrible for a drum set. AMS makes it a rather tempting itch to scratch.
I've got a bass viol da gamba ( and an Arpeggione as well) but I would trade them both for a grand piano and a really nice mellophonium...
I used to own an old Wurlitzer electric piano that I wish I still had. And I’ve always had a yen for a Hammond B3 and Leslie. And a Minimoog. But the software emulations for all those old keys has gotten so good that one can make do with a laptop and midi keyboard these days for those sounds.
I’d like a tuba and a 1953 Fender Esquire. Not in that order.
My birth year is also 1960! I have a twin brother 4 minutes older than me. I’ve been casually hunting for a 1960 P-bass. I have couple from the 1950’s but the ‘60 eludes me.

those look a lot like my first set or Pearls. From before anyone had ever heard of them. except there was a little more of gold hue in the Pearls. That is a way cool set. consider me one of your impressed drummer friends.

Nord keyboards - maybe if I get much, much better at playing MIDI guitar and I can't get their sounds from a soft-synth.
E-drum kit.
On the fence about a Mockingbird One guitar with Ibanez build-quality (and neck-joint, and neck). I suspect its rough-and-ready feel is an intrinsic part of what I love about it, and a more civilised feel would stop it drawing out my raucous side.
So I'd settle for a backup one, in case I ever manage to destroy this one. Shame they only ever did one production run of those.

If you're going to wish for a Mellotron M400 you should at least wish for one with a nice case.
I guess I'm fortunate that I obsessively hunted down a M400 and Jupiter 8s, 6s, MiniMoogs, PolyMoogs, 2600s etc and am now retired and housebound more or less.
Of course I'd still love to own many things I do not have such as this:
