Non reverse firebird Bass.

Anyone else think this is a good idea? i have nice plane for it, but i can't find a non reverse firebird in the UK anywhere!

Gibson made the firebird...it didn't do too good, then relised another firebird, like what the edge from u2 uses, then re released the first firebird but called it a non reverse firebird,

Looks like a jaguar, i have a jag bass. but i love non reverse firebirds man!

You mean the Thunderbird? The firebird was the guitar 'Bird and the Thunderbird was the bass 'Bird.

i dunno why they didn't take off, one of the best sounding guitars ever!
for ANY style!

I just think the non reverse ones look stunning, well...some of em, they have just done a non reverse custom shop guitar, but only in white i think, it's a bit rubbish that one, all the others are from the 50's n 60's. i just want the body of one. thats all i ask in life!

just found loads of non reverse epiphone thunderbirds...neally the same...so sorry for my ignorance!

No. Bodies were reverse-style and all the hardware including the pickguard were from non-reverse Thunderbirds. The look of the pickguard may confuse, it did confuse me too.

Thay have a gibson non reverse thunderbird.

It says it's an ex Oasis bass, now, i dunno to believe it or not, cos they are one of my fav bands of all time, but even if it wasnt theres...

£7000 :-/

i would rape god for that bass. i'm not going to rest untill i have one.

I meant to say around a grand, due to stores individualistic pricing and shipping charges + cases for the things as a total package.

and sorry I was looking at the MSRP when I said a grand.


If the things live up to the HYPE everyone has put on them...then Gibson/Epiphone will have a hot seller.
