Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum, but not totally new to bass. I haven't played in almost 8 years, but I'm looking at picking one up soon and would love to pick your brains. I live in South Texas (almost Galveston). I don't really have a particular influence or musical preference. If it has a nice bass line, I'll probably like it. I do lean more toward rock/hard rock/metal though.
My last rig consisted of an Ibanez BTB 405, Ampeg SVT 1000 head, 2 Ampeg 410 cabinets and a 3 space rack with an EQ, tuner and sound processor. I won't be going that big this time though. I'll have a ton of questions, but I wanted to get the intro out of the way. I'm looking forward to learning from you guys.
