So im looking to buy an ibanez 5 string bass there are 3 models that intrest me and the main diffrence are those pickups, id like to hear some opinion and description about them

Nords for me I have SR500 with low end Barts that just are simply put need to be replaced if I was keeping the bass.

Does anyone genuinely love those Barts that Ibanez keeps putting in? I find them uninspiring and haven't seen many people sing their praises. One person wrote at some point somewhere that they sounded like a wet blanket was laid over the pickups. I've always felt like they were missing *something*

I have a Nordy Big Split/Big Break in the bridge position on an Ibanez SR755NTF and I personally think it has a bit more body than the big singles and it is very versatile.

yeah im going with the sr unless b.c. rich are making a 5 string ironbird or mockingbird, before the ibanez i though of getting the widow because of d. d. berni but i think its too big and i cant find a case or gig bag for it
