I stumbled upon a great video of Norman Watt-Roy (Ian Dury and the Blockheads, Nick Lowe, Madness, The Clash, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Roger Daltrey, Nick Cave, etc.) giving it all he's got with the late Wilko Johnson on guitar and Dylan Howe on drums. The angle of the camera puts Watt-Roy front and center. Who says old guys can't rock?

I dunno, who? Old is strictly a place you put yourself into with your attutude. I’ve known 30-somethings well on their way to yelling about their yard. But keep in mind that this vid is eight years old. Right around the time they did that album with Daltry.
I’ve been a fan since I first heard Dury’s “NB&P”, and also of Wilko/Dr. Feelgood. Norman has always been a monster; “Hit Me…” should rate up there as yet another one of those tracks where you better bring it if you’re gonna play it, no faking it.

I happened onto this thread trying to find out what strings he’s been using over the decades. No luck with that but this video makes up for it.

Thanks for the information. So, I guess that kind of answers my question if deductive reasoning has any value. I was curious if he plays flats but the Elites are clearly rounds so, I assume the rotos were, too.
I’ve been working on learning rhythm stick and the ti’s over Bartolinis sounds REALLY good.
