Not able to log in unless Google is enabled

I have No Script installed on my browser (Firefox). Unless I enable the Google script to run, I can't log in to this site. The drop-down doesn't appear, I just get endless bars blinking across the "Log in or Sign Up" tab. This has been happening since yesterday.

Yeah, that's as designed. You need the jquery source, which we pull from Google's network to increase download speeds. I'm actually going to change to using the official jquery cdn. So if you use noscript, you'll need to whitelist http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.0.min.js

Why not just whitelist all of TalkBass? It'll make your TalkBass experience a lot less dull!

you will always show as online to your self
No one else can see that?

Google is da debbil and I block them whenever I can. Prior to the other day, I didn't have this problem, and d/l speed was perfectly fine.

I don't understand why we keep having disruptive changes to the site, especially when there is no announcement that changes are being made. We're just supposed to figure these things out for ourselves, that you've made a change, or otherwise not be able to log in?

I'm sorry that we're not able to cater to every browser extension and add-on. The site had no visible disabilities or disruptions from upgrading from xenforo 1.3 to 1.4 on all the major browsers, and so we had no reason to post any kind of announcement.
