Well, aside from the lack of a pickup in the spot I like to have one, I am really not digging the orange pickguard against the sunburst. I wonder if there's a route under it for a P pickup and another volume knob, it looks like a custom job.

Clearly someone's dream bass, just not mine. To each their own I guess.
 
Ok: the pickguard is horrible. Ok: the fretlight leds stuff is... meh for any standard bassplayer, but maybe useful for anyone interested in improving their fretboard notes knowledge. But I can agree that it is not really a super needed feature.

But... just cannot get the huge sarcasm for a single bridge pickup bass. What is it: because it only is a jazz type pickup? It has less... dignity versus a neck pickup? Simple prejudice? A jazz type pickup is of a minor league vs. a MM or P or whatever else pickup?
