I've seen Foreigner and Styx together once. They rocked. I saw Styx with new Skynyrd too.
My dad's friend (John Purdell) produced Foreigner (along with countless others) and was doing keys for them on a few tours. Great shows.

Out of over 50 bands, I see maybe 14 worth seeing.

What is up with all these foreign festivals getting all the great bands. What happened to America here?

That Rock Am Ring looks like a dream fest to me.

The US generally fails at hard rock/metal, especially festivals.

That said, Rock Am Ring's lineup didn't look like anything special to me. Then again the first name I read was "Kiss," a band I detest.

Now, Wacken Open Air, THERE'S a festival.

However, what would make the original post MUCH more interesting is if "Grave Digger" is the monster truck jumping over the stage, rather than whatever crappy Scandinavian metal band I assume it is.
