I've been playing an Eden WT800 since I bought it new in 1998. I tried several cabs with it and settled on the 210XST. Well about a month ago I had a chance to get a SWR Super Redhead,same year as the WT800 and a SOB 15" extension cab. After several gigs I decided to go back to the Eden set up. Now I know why I've used the Eden for so long. I know Eden stuff is not that popular any more but thought I'd share this.

Eden stuff used to be all the rage a few years back. With the acquisition, David leaving the company, the whole thing with the relabeled Smarvo amps, and cone creasing issues, it was just one REALLY unfortunate long run of bad luck. It's scary how quickly the market can turn against you.

Mike Watt used to be a die hard Eden user. Now the only Eden component in his rig is a preamp.
