Really happy today. I only played this for about 15 minutes this morning. But wow, what a great pedal. I imagine I will have this on all the time as a tube tone shaper. It must be only 2 lbs.

After reading some past posts about this pedal, I hear to get a Flat EQ, you have to set HI and LO to 0, and MID to 10. Which I did. Set the drive at about 3. And Output to unity. Nice warm and fuzzy.

I don't know when this was made, but I got it looking brand new. I'm not sure what tube is inside, I'll take it apart tonight to see. I was thinking of installing an RCA 12au7, but this one sounds so good, I think I may leave it as is.

Yeah these are great! I used to have one. I'd like to get another one someday. They are really nice to have around. I believe the stock tube is an AX7. I think. I know I flip flopped a few tubes in and out of mine a few times. It’s crazy what a difference it can make. But I really liked it too. It def adds that little som som to your tone if that’s what you’re looking for. I love glowing tubes too! Haha

I settled on a 12AV7 in mine - sounded the best to me .

Looks like the tube in there is labeled "The Fisher 12ax7/ECC83, Made in Germany". Online search seems these are vintage Telefunken tubes.

IME the ax7's overdrive is too harsh for my liking, the au7's is too mushy, and the av7's "just right" .
