NPD DSM Noisemaker OmniCabSim

I'm waiting on my pre-order as well. I feel your pain, @jacoby75.

Quick question for @Dsmnoisemaker : Does the pedal have any digital circuitry or control? I ask because I have a few analog pedals on a daisy chain that don't play well with digital. Does it need an isolated power source?

Had it in my Reverb cart for a month or so. Figured the Pre-order window must be closing soon so finalized this morning. Any other order one of these? Looks like Canada has a FTA with Chile but I assume I can expect at least GST/PST/HST.

This was the first speaker sim pedal that caught my eye, but I spent my Saturday looking at a slew of cheap Impulse Response pedals. It was actually the IR pedal reviews that convinced me. I felt the OCSD samples sounded better than the IR. Not scientific, but my home speakers are very neutral and good at highlighting what's bad in recordings, and making what's natural shine. Planning to use with my Bassbone OD. I'll need to figure out if it's best in the effects loop of if I should lineout of the Bassbone and use the DI from the OCSD.

It's all analog. I didn't want to complicate the switching with a super noiseless mcu system because is mostly an always on effect.
About the power supply, isolated is always best. But you can daisy chain it with other analog pedals.
