Thanks to all of the wonderful advice here, I settled on something. Today Santa stopped by in the form of a FedEx truck and dropped off my Christmas present. It came in the form of a TT-800, a 1x15 on the bottom, and a 1x12 on top. Along with a pair of SpeakOn cables.

It's hooked up and sounds absolutely glorious! I haven't turned it up much, but it certainly causes the windows to rattle.

It'll take some time to get familiar with the EQ. Good thing I'm off tomorrow.

As an added benefit, with the gain down, it's easy to keep at low volumes for a "distraction" rig. Much manage the volume than with my Rumble.

Pictured along with my J-bass. Strings are LaBella tape's.

Just in time to "make a beautiful noise unto the Lord"!!!

Super awesome!! Man, you're living my dream right now, haha!

I have just the foundation (SW115) currently, but hope to finish out a similar stack (still debating between the 112 or 210 for the middle piece) over the coming months. Enjoy it, and come back and give us a report after you spend some time playing through!

I'm agonizing over the same ... Which can to add as an extension to my SW15 :)

OP: this is a rig to die for! Congrats

Very nice amp set-up and the J-bass. I'm shopping very carefully at this same time for an aguilar SL 112 and have so far procured an unused-aguilar TH500 for a great price from Reverb.com. It's hard to hold back the trigger on that cabinet, especially when there are so few around, used, excellent shape. Happy times-Stay safe!
