No problem! I enjoy writing. FYI, the spacing is 18mm - not too far off.
I think these would be way more popular if they had a real headstock, which seems to be a stickler for many, but if you can get beyond that, they are great instruments - and sound glorious.
When I got my fretless, the string spacing took a little getting used to, but it happened fairly quickly.
This is by far the most ergonomically satisfying bass I’ve ever played.
Just be aware that this is not a bass for trying to get any sort of 60's or 70's traditional tone. The pickups are very clean sounding, and this is by all means an articulate, modern sounding bass.I used to be more of a traditionalist in style but nowadays more interested in different approaches and I like what NS is doing. And 18mm isn't too far off, sometimes I would like to try a neck with a little increase in spacing.
I'm going to take a breath just to make sure but all these glowing reviews are making it easy to dive in!
@DanTheQuakerI’m just going to claim number #3 for this club.
Are you giving out numbers Dan?
It's beautiful. Sniff. As promised, here it is along with a NBD post!

Looks great ! Got the fretted version. What strings are you using ? Currently I am using EB Slinkies on my CR5 Radius but considering flats (probably LaBella Low Tension LTF-5a flexible flats) to tame the agressive highs in piezo mode(s).As promised, here it is along with a NBD post!

Infact some early Radius models had this issue. A slight bridge design change fixed this issue.I was kinda expecting that my CR Radius wouldnt be staying in tune..But its rock solid. A very nice surprise. I guess Mr Ned knew what he was doing with the whole design.

Also found a name for her - Kate.
mine barely ever goes out of tune.
That wa my point, it stays in tune rock solid. Sorry if I didnt make it clear!Strange - mine barely ever goes out of tune. I pulled her out yesterday after sitting for a while and it was still perfectly in tune. It's been that way since I got it. Did you put new strings on?
