Hi guys!
I just got an NS Design CR5M, but unfortunately the bridge didn't make it in shipping. When it arrived the bridge had spilt into several pieces. Anyone had a similar damage to their bass? Is it possible to get a replacement from NSD, or do I have to go and get one hand made? Also, it seems like the piezo on the bass side might have sustained some damage, so will have to fix it or possibly replace it. Impatiently waiting for an answer from NSD, but just curious if others have experienced something like this and if it's repairable.... Anxious!

The Arco piezo elements on my US series bass become noisy and intermittent. I gave NS design a call and they wanted me to ship the bass to them instead of sending me parts.

I took the bridge out to inspect it and I can kind of understand why. Outside of the bass, it looks like the piezo elements would be very fragile. As I only played the bass pizz, I never had it repaired. I did apply some pressure to the malfunctioning piezo elements and they settled down for for several months.

So the good news is I believe NSD will be able to repair your bass. The bad news is they will probably want you to ship the bass to them.

I think the CRM uses the same magnetic and piezo pickups as my old bass, and FYI the current EU series is made to the same spec as the old US series.
