Double Bass NS Design EU6 (Pics coming!)

The action is super low. Perfect if you're used to playing EB or fretless EB. Not so good if you're used to playing a real URB. I let a friend play it last week who was a tradition URB player and he thought the action was way too low. But it's totally adjustable, so you can set it however you like it.

The neck is nice and thin compared to a URB as well. The NS specs are correct.

I love this bass. It's just awesome. It's rock solid too, it doesnt feel flimsey at all. You can really beat on this thing and not worry.

Sorry, I'll try to be more clear. Below the bridge you have 6 slots cut in the body where each of the strings is anchored and goes up to the bridge and then on up the neck.

If you were to stand in front of a slot with the string in it, I would imagine that you would see string aligned in the center of the slot, not rubbing against one side or the other of it.

In your picture #3, it appears that the high C is rubbing against the left side of the slot. It's probably just the angle of the photo.

I sure don't want to sound critical of your photos because as I've said, you've already done us all a favor by posting them. :)

OK, I gotcha now. I just looked very closely at the bass and there's about a 1 mm gap between the string and the body for the C string. So, I can see why it might look that way in the photo. None of the strings are touching the side of any of those holes.
