NS Design Radius Bass

Perfect intonation is not possible. Matching up the 12th fret note to open note is not "perfect intonation". Intonating fretted instrument is a compromise at best.

I think we are all quite aware of this.
But some tunings/ string gage choices require a bridge capable of adjustment per string to obtain a more pleasing result above the 12th fret. I love my NS eub, it's fretless so not a concern.
But the radius wouldn't work for my needs. Sorry I opened such a can of worms.

I own one of these and had issue with the bridge locking the string in on the low b string. It is being fixed, but I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue. Also, as far as the intonation goes, I have not had any issue with this. You loosen the screws and adjust the bridge front or back according to the needs and then once in place it locks nicely. I do use standard tuning though but the bass has a great sound. Mixing the EMG pups with the piezo pickup gives it a sound no other bass that I've played is capable of recreating. Not for every occasion, but very comfortable and has a nice tight compact sound.
